I made this full-length knitted dress for an April wedding and wanted it to feel elegant, soft, and a little unexpected. Designed and knitted on a domestic knitting machine, this piece combines clean minimal construction with subtle shaping techniques to create a silhouette that feels both flattering and timeless.
The dress features a soft off-the-shoulder neckline, created with a relaxed folded edge that naturally drapes across the collarbone for an effortless romantic feel. The body is worked in smooth knit stitches with gradual shaping throughout the waist and hips to contour the figure, before flowing into a softly flared hem that adds movement and drama with every step.
