Smiley Grandad Jumper (Sport Weight) Pattern

Our Smiley Grandad jumper made using sport weight yarn, embodies a perfect blend of comfort and style, crafted in a soft, light pink knit that radiates warmth and coziness. This pattern uses basic knit techniques such as stockinet, Fair isle, waste yarn and transfer. It’s easy and quick to make. It perfect for advanced knitters.

The Smiley Grandad has been purposely designed to be fully customisable with unlimited combinations to machine knit as you wish. It also means that you can come back and knit it again and again with a different version each time.

Above is my measurements. So before you start your pattern you will need to measure your body length (shoulder to waist), waist circumference, neckline width opening and wrist. You can also use an existing jumper to help. Then write you measurements down on the notes page, page 17.

Yarn and Tools

• Cascade Yarns 220 Superwash sport, 100% Superwash Merino Wool; 50 g (136.5 yds (125m)

Knitting Needle Size: US 5 - 6 (3.75 - 4.0mm) 

A (main colour) - 8 skeins of colour #894 (Strawberry Cream)

B (second colour)  - 5 skein of colour #817 (Ecru)

• I use the Silver Reed SK280 knitting machine but you can use any standard gauge machine
